Man, all your guys' critters have it made! This is as close to the stove as mine are allowed. He is supposed to totally stay on that throw rug, but I let him slide at times. Of course when the wife is home it's "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET BACK ON YOUR RUG!" Maybe that is why he is bipolar?

Exactly!! That is the only place in house with any heat effect from that fireplace. The ambiance improvement makes it all worth it though in my opinion.
