Saws - really nice to be able to use them all.

I like the idea of a load lock to keep the saws pinned in place. I've used them before in box trucks and semis, but it had never occurred to me to use one for that. I'm glad I saw this picture! is that a 25" or 28" bar on the 880?

25

The 880 did a lot of work today. The stump was 2 feet by almost 4 feet/

Nice. I've got a 460 Rancher that I'm real happy with..(until I start looking at the big saws at the local power equipment shop).

The 880 is fun to cut with. It is great when I can get very close to where I am cutting and can then work with it. With a 24" bar it is not too bad. Put on the 47" bar and it is something else.

The 066 is getting to be a saw I use a lot. Compaired to the 880 it is light.

Want somehting heavy? Try the 1130G with a 32" bar - 35 pounds! I have a 50" bar that I will try, once I can change the chain over to .404 from 1/2

That's about as bad as the chain on my Mac 35,... It's between 1/2 pitch and 7/8.... It's almost a log chain with teeth. Not to mention I don't have a spare for it. Did you have the 1130 at Dan's GTG? I can't remember if I played with that or not. That 880 is a BLAST, but you're right about it being in a league by itse;f weight/power/balance-wise compared to the 660. I thought mine was a relatively big saw, until I played with the saws that you, Les, Stephen and Wendell brought. It was an educational experience.... That might be my present to myself when I hit E-7.
