Has anyone ever tried to rebuild one of these transformers?

Only problem I had with mine is the spring inside the booth. Initially I tested it as an open coil(bad) but when I pulled the spring out there was dirt inside and an open contact caused the no-spark. I just cleaned with compressed air and stretch the spring to give more tension and had my spark back...saved $60. Installing the wrong plug will cause damage specially if it is too long ,this will cause distortion within the plastic housing with the 2 holding screws and more unwanted pressure at the coil output post.

It dosent appear stressed. Thesaw was running and just quit. Since its a freebie iI can experiment with it and at worse its still a wall hanger.
