Found a Stihl 034 today.
Seller says it has a spare bar and some chains but the saw needs a new piston and cilinder. Is it worth 85$?

I wouldn't hesitate for a second if it were for sale in my neck of the woods, the 034 is a good saw (pro model). Buy it if it isn't already gone. The cylinder will probably clean up too with some hydrochloric acid.

Obviously you have not run an 034. I'd go offer $50, and make sure you have the $85 in case he won't budge. That is a very capable firewood saw. If the fuel tank is decent, you can sell it on ebay and make your $85 back pretty easily.

There better be a bunch of 575 in there for that kind of coin. Pics are blurry enough that I'm betting on most of them being 435. Maybe a "380" is really a 385. That could make this a decent deal.
