Runs + cuts very strong. Removed primer and added choke (still have primer). Muffler is not original, but from Mcculloch 73. Motor idles fine, but clutch springs are a bit worn so chain doesn't quite stop.
Looking for: Dolmar 166 or Stihl 090AV (late model) or Whithead Logger with West Bend 820 or Solo Twin or a Stihl E30 set up to run in the USA. Probably crazy to mention, but a Solo Super REX would do the trick as well. Anyway they don't have to be pretty just good runners and not broken. A strong running Solo 603 with a full wrap would do as well.

Hello Ian,

I hope your wife has recovered. That is a nasty son of a gun to kick

Well shoot ..................... I want to keep going myself.................. On a side note I will sending one of the kids out your way in June. I get a laugh out of the fact that all my boys will see the Stihl factory/warehouse and I never will

Well jesus chrysler! I had me one of these dinosaurs yrs ago.
It was a BEAST! It was a beast to get started too. Bout scared everyone out of da woods when that thing fired up. Had a guy tell me it sounded like his brothers pan head
Instead of a chainsaw.
