Brand New Log Splitter

I just pulled the trigger and bought a brand new log splitter.
I bought a Forest King 30 ton.
Will pick it up on Thursday March 16th after work and try her out on the 17th-20th weekend.
It was on sale for $850 off regular price.

Can't build anything for that price. I wanted remotes on front and rear for my grapples so on the weekend I put a 2 spool valve on my tractor and the valve, fittings and hoses were over $600 and I had a bunch of stuff to start with. Wear the paint off that beast.

Normally priced at $2712 after taxes in.
That's picked up pricing.
Shipping would cost $250 more.(plus 13% tax)

I've had the 22 ton unit since 2011, split 6 - 9 full cords a year with it and the coupling between the motor and the pump finally wore out. Service techs were super helpful, got me everything I needed to make it right. This is a good machine, backed up by a good company. Now I see the bigger unit is on sale at Menard's for $488 (after rebate) and if this thing weren't so darn durable I'd buy one for a spare!
