No hurry here, just wondering if it was fixable or not. The 70's were so under built internally for there displacement its rare to find one in salvageable condition so parts saws are not hard to find. If yours shows no compression, I would bet its the same.
 
Those C70's have a reputation of scored pistons. I have two with bad pistons.
Not only that, I have seen them with bad pin bearings, and cranks. They are built like old 60cc saws internally and didn't hold up to that much displacement.

Thats why I would never give much for one sight unseen as most of them end up tore apart and stored in a box.
