My brother bought this saw to use in his construction business. He tried to use for a roof tear off , all it did was tear up the chain in about 15 minutes. That's all this saw has been used . You won't find a nicer one unless you buy new . He's asking 1050 shipped east of Mississippi. Shipping a little more farther west .

just curious...did I come with the duro ( carbide) chain ? supposed to be for Fire Service departments to cut through roofs....hard to imagine its not able to ....cut through roofs.
should have,and usually has depth guard you can adjust.
looks like the plate is there. (no chain is visible as per description)
should be a HO oiler as well and a west coast clutch cover.( in photo)
I just retired from fire service and we had a stihl 290 with a carbide chain that ripped through shingles and decking like butter! before I left we bought a Dolmar k12

It did come with a carbide chain . They were doing a fire job . Taking off the top of a cap cod and making it a ranch. After about 15 minutes it chipped a bunch of the teeth off . They ended up using saws alls . He was not happy .
