Stihl and husqvarna bars on the 7910

I was just wondering I you need an adaptor to run stihl or husqvarna bars on the 7910 and if so do any of the dealers on the forums have them. I'm picking up a 7910 from a member here it comes with a 24" husky bar. I'd like to add a 28 and 32 in the future.

Large mount Husqvarna (D009) will fit without an adapter. Stihl bars will work with an adapter.

Homelite 410 machined the rim to convert my 490 to 3/8lp. I'd also like to pick up one of his vices at some point. What does an adaptor cost?

I will attest to @Homelites 410’s adapters....they are machined to “PERFECTION”!!!! I have many for my Dolmars/Makitas. They fit snug so the won’t fall off accidentally but come off easy enough if you want to change bars again!
Fit and finish are outstanding!!!

One of your old 7910s was on my list. Good to hear about first hand experience. I'll most likely get an adaptor when I decide to pick up a bigger bar.
