Hice haul you got, and the hone is the prize of the day. If you ever get a 2.3 piston and cylinder set with ring and want to sell it let me know it's for a 2300AV

I knew a tool and die guy would know Sunnen hones . They sell for hundreds of dollars . I only have one 2300 av but I will keep an eye out . One on craigslist Chicago for $50 been on for weeks . Its a nice one.

Picked up a parts saw 4200. The P&C look OK as far as I can see but some little critter has the muffler half full. I guess what I can see so far is a hole smashed in the front of the oil tank and a couple of bad AV isolators. He used oversize bolts on the muffler so the cylinder will need to repaired. I've already done one of those.

Not too bad for $7 USD.

Show me a picture of the cylinder when you are fixing it, would like to see what you are talking about. By the way nice find PS what is the cc of the saw

That is/was cheap. My 5200 was free, the 4200 donor was around 145, with a bad P/C.

Cut ,haul,split,stack,wait,wait more ....haul,burn repeat ! Getting some restock. Good mix in the pile, ash, pin oak, american elm, hackberry . Got a chance to use the 3700 seems to run good but at wot in comes in and out of the grunt . Too Rich? I didnt adjust it yet .
