I`ve got a little Homelite 33cc that I use around the yard for small stuff. It runs extreme well but when I release the trigger the chain stops immediately. I mean ther is no movement at all when I release the trigger. Is this normal or is there an adjustment to be made?

Is chain too tight.
Is it oiling

Doese the chainbrake show signs of melting in to the case. I have seen alot of these that the brake drags then melts into the case and finaly locks up completly. The fix is to throw away the saw and buy another saw.

No, everything seems to be working properly. I can move the chain when the saw is off and no signs of any melting plastic. Maybe that`s just the way these saws work?
