Hello all i am getting a craftsman 3.7A that is grey and white.I wanted to get you guys opinion on whether it would be worth 80 dollars, and if there are any problems i should be aware of. Thank you

Go for it. If it’s in decent shape it’s worth $80. Maybe can talk him down a bit.

I have one and it pulls a 20” ok. No speed demon, and not the smoothest anti-vibe system. Mine has an auto Oiler with manual override. Muffler is kind of choked up so a muff mod helps.

People look strictly at a name and discredit the capabilities. I love when my buddies are all running there Stihl saws they payed $500+ for cutting firewood, and I pull out a $50 garage sale maccullach or homelite and keep right up with them.

Sears Ranger with auto and manual oiler and thumb control decompression release.
