Stihl 009L.

You wouldn't believe the woodpiles built with this Dangerfieldesque little saw.

At a mere 9 pounds, this saw, classified as homeowner variety, sports a magnesium case, a thumping 2 horsepower from it's 10,500 rpm 40cc reed valve engine, and a unique semi-top handle design that gives it a compact form and unmatched versatility.

Ryobi ry10532/ redmax gz400 were the best bang for the buck if knew what you actually had. A 2.4 horsepower saw with a mag case for 120 new, enlarge the muffler outlet a bit and that gets you to ms241 power territory. Just over 9lb its a fun saw.

My redmax g450avs is a strong runner stock as well as my new g5000 that cost 260 off ebay.

SLEEPER could be looked at a couple ways. I have a Husqvarna 350 that am ever here did a woods port on (that I love) that might be considered a sleeper, but I guess I was thinking more stock saw. Like how it seems Echo is making a comeback where they might have seemed like "big box" saws. Or some of the earlier poulan pros are better than the ones offered now. I think price still reflected it but a while back John Deer were recolored Efco.
Just something that is a lot better than most would think.
