I need to put on a bigger bar with a more aggressive chain.. please advise

Depends on what your using it for.... The most I put on was a 20” bar to be honest with you. Even then it’s not a stellar performer but again it Depends on what your using it for. 18” it works well but mostly got cutting firewood.

I think you would be pushing it with a 24”.

Go with a full chisel chain but it’ll jump around allot on that saw. It’s one of the many saws I own that I honestly stay away from for dropping trees or doing much else other than cutting firewood. I’m not a huge fan... but it depends on what your using it for.
