Hey Everybody I have a Husky 288xp that I bought from another member here, I had good intentions when I bought the saw but I think I bit off more than I can chew with my current plate. When I bought the saw, the owner advertised it as being rebuilt but when he ran it, he had concerns about the piston showing signs of scoring. I believe he said it was a NOS piston. I received the saw and the jug was off of it. I don’t see anything super concerning about the piston, the saw is overall in pretty decent condition for what it is. I bought crank seals and a base gasket and was going to put it back together and run it but it’s been on the bench for months and hasn’t been touched and I don’t see the situation improving any time soon. Anyways I’m asking $350 plus shipping. Any questions just ask.
