DSCN5383.JPG I have over 100 Norway Pines and not sure how many Spruce in the 16"-22" range. I was wondering if a log home builder would get me the best bang for my buck$$$$ ?, or should I let them grow? I'm no spring chicken at 64.DSCN5381.JPG DSCN5383.JPG

Start calling around. They are pretty picky. If you have anything they are even remotely interested in they might come take a look but they typically have their steady suppliers they trust.

The trees shown won’t get me cabin stock price from the pine mill I sell to. All the 6x8 and 8x8 cants need to meet certain specs. Those trees won’t saw cabin grade. Too many black knots.

While I don’t know what I’m talking about the stuff here makes sense. I think if they were maintained and limbed down low earlier on in life they would grow tall and have clearer straight grain would which is more sought after for higher end construction.
