Mine is a 261 carb model, bone stock. I think you'll be fine with 18" .325 on that saw. I run mine with 16" .325 and love that set up. But I have an 18" bar just in case, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it.

I go to my 046 for anything the 261 can't handle, typically 20" stuff and up.
