At least we figured out what you had got.
You did nice cleaning job.
I would done same as you, bought them and cross fingers.

I bought an unseen 262 KS jug today, wonder how it look when it arrive...still dealing with him, 242g flywheel, hope for 242g handle also and more....
You seem to have an easier time sourcing 'G' parts there. They are scarcer than hen's teeth on this side of the pond. Good luck!

Thanks,
I saw a 133sg for 2 weeks in a shop, set deal through phone today, probleby lots wrong with her, picking her up tomortow.
They have a bunch carbs I gone go through also.
Nice! I have been waiting at least 3 years for a 234 to show up on eBay or locally - it hasn't happened yet. Closest I came was two people were parting out two saws but have never seen a whole saw for sale. I have only seen 2 or 3 238se on eBay and I got one of them - it came in a box all in pieces - fortunately all the critical pieces were there.

I just heard from the seller about my cylinders. He is one very honest individual and has refunded my costs including shipping after I sent him the pictures I attached above. Occasionally someone comes along that restores my faith in humanity!

I missed out one a couple week ago, it was in parts, seller didn't show the cyl, I should have bid more and taken a chance.
another thing to keep in mind, bearing 501 59 40 02 is NLA for 242. If you plan to build the perfect limbing machine you should grab one while there is still a chance. I bought two of them

I have a 42 that I really enjoy, I've been trying to gather enough parts to do a total rebuild if necessary, it may outlast me, I've got to get av mounts, bearings and a cyl, love those little saws.

me to, used 242 80% of my work this spring.
There are still people in my area who fancy them.

You have to call around to find a new clutch side bearing, 40-50$ maybe they cost.
There is always one store who have old stock. Thats how I got my two. Pretty much every damn Husky dealers in Norway I called.
Worse scenario is to go through FAG, I've checked it. There is FAG 543301 avaible but FAG take whooping 100$.
Else then a good cylinder and crank, it's the only thing I would hunt after, that bearing.

The sealing is coming with the bearing, but can also be bought separate, # 501 61 49 01

Thanks for the great info sir.

that I dont know.
I found the information on the forum to Magnus Mahle 50ZN13 belong to 266.

My 266 is probleby from 1986, it has the bigger carburator, decals on starting house 266xpg, same on top cover. Mahle cylinder is 50ZN11 W2.
Good to read, my 'new' 266 XPG from 1984 has the same 50 ZN11 W2 cylinder.
Probably never been disassembled ...

The 48mm open port looks like a later 61. It has the two bolt air cleaner mount. Early 61 up to 1984 had single mount filter. My dad had many 61's through the years, good running saws.
Can anyone identify this?
