I've been hanging out here for a few months now, and hear a lot of talk about caber rings. Seems like a lot of you like them and go out of your way to use them.
Just wondering what is special about them and what makes them so good?

I wouldn't say go out of the way to use them but caber rings and meteor pistons are a very high quality affordable aftermarket replacement. I wouldnt put anything else in any of my saws I run.

They're good quality compared to most aftermarket rings. I'm not sure, but they may be the OEM supplier for some saws straight from the factory.
Quality control
Name brand recognition
Consistency of product
Material quality
Made in Italy
Bingo! :numberone: They put their name of their product.

Doubt many saws contain rings made by them, outsource to lowest bidder that meets their specifications.
