Picked up this 041 AV for $40 "not running". Cleaned air filter new gas, drive sprocket, and away she went. I know next to nothing about saws of this vintage im guessing late 1960s - late 1970s (way before my time). Looks like the cluch cover has a slot cut for a chain brake lever? Who knows. Im running 40:1 in it has a 20 inch Windsor full skip on it. Thoughts, sugestions, common issues?

Is that because these old saws run relativly slow but make good torque?
Loggers here in the day used them for Limbing because they were lighter than the 051 or 075 saws and didn't slow down on limb size cuts Chain speeds were close but 404" vs 3/8" made the 041 actually faster and LIGHTER. Then came the 056 MAG II with an 8 pin rim with 3/8" chain made a bit of difference and since then saw speed has upped the game Jonsered had some comparable size scenarios,

Love mine. Got it for $60 last fall with 20" hardnose bar.
