i have it roughed in. The center of the lower intake needs more ramp and the upper exhaust port needs to be raised and ramped. Then polishing with compound and a special injection die polish. To remove the grinding carbide grooves.

I lowered the intake port and made it a tad wider. The exhaust port needs to be higher at the cylinder opening. Finish pics to follow.

I been porting drag race engines since I was 20yo. Two stroke engines for around 3 decades. Now I seen the 2100 Ported saw done by the husky rep. I ran it. Now I’m having fun tiring it all together. It’s free hp. Unleash the beast in your chain saw.
 
Maybe that’s it Jim. I know the 262, but very little about other Huskies. I know the 266 looked similar to what the OP posted. The 266 had an intake mani that bolted to the jug and then the carb bolted to the mani. The 272 had through bolts from the intake neck all the way through the entire tract to the jug.

There’s a typo somewhere.
