I'm looking a building a log bucking trailer for my next project. Gonna be a dual axle probably around 12' long with a winch mounted on it to pull up the logs. Anyone have any picks or ideas to throw my way.
this is what I use to pull logs and short wood from hard to reach areas.. able to raise the boom on the end of the trailer to cross load logs(bolts) for cutting an loading into the truck at the landing. no mud, no fuss, no mess!Thinking about using the winch to drag logs up on trailer. Probably gonna put a lot wood for runners and what not to keep from hitting metal while I'm cutting
stakes in the rear pockets allow to stack bolts higher by raising the boom get around 1/3rd cord … when loaded gravity feeds the cutter with out the need to man handle the lengths from the sloping rails! works real good for what it is.Sweet little rig buddy!
