I need a tach for my 385xp and i like the more compact ones. I see the stihl tach is smaller.

Is it a quality part?

And other suggestions for smaller/compact tachs?

They don't make it, but its a supior tool. You don't need the durability.
A Tiny Tach is a alternative. Its a decent tool. I've used the Stihl tach for decades.
I'd never buy another. But I don't really, the dealership does LOL
