Just picked this little tank up for a bargain to fill in while I get my 192T working again.
Has chain brake, factory 12" banana bar, unmolested.

First off, what bar chain combo would you run, and from what supplier? I'm just doing side jobs on mostly conifers, PNW. Fwiw

Second, it's a bit slow for it's weightl. Planning a simple muffler mod. Gotta wake her up at least a little bit.
Experiences?
Thanks

Nice. I picked up two, one for parts. Heavy little tanks aren't they?
Seem very solid and rather compact, square. Not a lot of plastic.
What B and C are you running? Pitch?
I do not like the feel of the banana bar

I have had one for 10 years. It needed fuel lines once. I run Poulan 14" bars because it's easier to find chains. But...

The bar studs may rip out of the case. Tighten carefully. You might consider replacing the studs and nuts now, just for good measure. They are available again with the proper cross reference number. Took me 5 or so years to hunt the new numbers down. Easily Googleable now.

The fuel and oil fill are stupid small. Can be messy to fill.

Right now I think I have tank vent problems fuel everywhere and some running issues

I guess I don't expect much cutting speed from mine, just keep the chain sharp.

They go forever on a little fuel and start very easy. Great little saws imo.

Thanks man!
Good info. They do start very easily
Poulan bar-good idea. Are they generally 3/8 low profile?

And heavy... No doubt. But it's what I've got.
Hoping for muffler mod helping some. Maybe gasket delete.

Too soon to tell, need a decent bar and chain on the echo.
Started out climbing with a Super 2.
Much less than ideal
