looking to get a cheap chain saw mill,grandberg or haydon style,just want to mill some live edge slabs,have a 076,and 064 30'' bars,do milling chains need to be skip tooth? thanks
 
I don't know if it's necessary but skip chain does clear chips better. Certainly recommended on longer bars.

any recomandation for a chain saw mill setup?
I got this one for 150 bucks it does 47 inch but could squeeze 48 if needed not much to them easy to make your own I have added a Oiler on the far end now found it reduces wear on bar

I think it was a hoffazer or something made in China but cheap had to modify the bar holders to take my 66 inch and 72 bars but the smaller bars fit in between the bolts
