Hi all

After a part number for facelift sprocket cover and clutch/chain brake spring cover, as I'd like to retro fit them to my pre face lift 362c, assuming it is possible

I put the updated bar cover with captured nuts and upper shield (black piece above bar cover) on mine and they fit perfectly. I installed a new 20” Stihl Light bar at the same time. Nice upgrades.

According to STIHL, the new parts can`t be used for the previous version of the MS 362, 362 C-M. The newer chain sprocket cover is 1140 640 1703 and the cover for the chain brake mechanism is 1140 021 1105.

So does mine I cheaped out and brought a farmertec 362 sprocket cover

When I seen this thread pop up I was hoping it was the conclusion of the "low compression 362" but I guess not and I'm guessing we wont ever get an answer about that one
