A little Ambrosia maple this weekend

Milled up this ambrosia maple on Saturday. Came out awesome. I still have the logs in the pictures below to mill.

Even the leaders are 24+ in diameter.

Luckily I stumbled on his ad on Facebook before someone could get at them and turn them to firewood. I’ll post more pics as I get them!
 
Very nice, super score. I like ambrosia maple a lot. I'm assuming that it was a Silver Maple you cut, correct?

I got a hold of some curly ambrosia, matched up so nicely with black walnut in these pieces I just made;

Yes sir, silver maple. Going back this weekend to mill the other forked log. Depending on the rot in the long one it might get turned into firewood.
