MS290 strange sound...

So my MS290 is making a ting ting ting sounds randomly while idling. Recently upgraded to a 3/8 chain and rim sprocket, running a 20" bar. Didn't do it right after the conversion started after a few times of fairly light use. Any one have any ideas before I tear it apart?

Turn your idle speed screw to the left a hair, and see if the noise goes away or changes.

The clutch grabs at a particular rpm. You may be idling close to it.

That... or the clutch grabs a tiny bit anyways because of dirt / bad quality/bad assembly etc.
Sounds very familiar anyway. (Pun intended)

After following HarleyT's advice, take the clutch drum off and check the springs, clips and shoes for wear, and whats already been mentioned.
