I have a couple that look the same way.
On yours, is there a cap on the breather? Mine has threads on it. On the inside of the tank there is a hard plastic line connected to the breather and it just lays in the tank. Not sure where that is supposed to run to or if something should be on the end of that line.
Same. Meaning no cap.
There's some sort of filter like material in there not sure if there's also a one way valve in it or not. I don't believe anything is supposed to be on the other end.
The later saws (S65 etc) had a different more typical style vent with a hose/grub screw whatever setup sticking out of the top of the tank by the fuel line.
Been quite a while since I've had one apart...
