Best way to remove top cover clips on Husqvarna chainsaws without breaking them?

Trying to color match the clasps on a saw.
I was thinking of bending a small flat head or pick to reach under and push down the clasp, but has anyone else found a better way?

Hold your finger close to it as you pop it with the bar wrench. Don’t let the latch snap open violently.

Ha I wish! The 550 clasps need a fricken scrench to pop open. The 395 metal ones need a scrench as well. The only ones I can do with my fingers without pain is the 372 lol

I use the scrench but use my finger on my other had to limit the whipping action of the clasps. Don’t let them fly to there limit of travel that’s how they snap.

I think he wants to remove the clips from the cover , not open them.

The clips are actually stuck into the saw Body not the cover old guy. They kind of snap in with a tab that keeps them from being pulled back out. They are a real bugger to get out without breaking them. I can't seem to do it. Mike

Small flat head, some wiggling, and patience. I haven't found a "good" way yet.
