If one were to get an MS200 rear handle saw, what sized bar would you choose? 12" or 14"? I"m kinda leaning towards the 12" as I have a tophandle with that bar size.

My 200t's run 16" bars with no trouble, even buried in white oak.

I have an MS200 rear handle, & it runs PS chain on a 14in. bar very nicely. For me that is an ideal combination. You can bury it without stressing the saw.
14 or 16 , 14 is a slight bit faster 16 has better reach. If your other saw has the 12 and you go with that it would simplify the chain supply on hand. But if you need more bar length or reach when cutting the 12 wont do it you need a longer bar. All depends what you are doing .

I do have 16" bars for the MS170. That should work on it too. Get the 12", and have the 16" as well. The 200t I have has a 12", as does the pole pruner. Right now, I like things simple.

My ht131 has a 12" bar, which I find about perfect, and my ht250 pulls the same 16" bar/chain combo as the 200t's.
