So, i thought i may have spoken to soon. Last night i was unable to crank it - seemed back to it's old ways. Then a couple more pulls (never give up spirit) and i noticed the pull was way too easy. Not a free spin, but it didn't have much tension.

Next up, inspect starter.

The saga continues...

After a week, I gave up fighting it. Took it back to shop, they sent it back to manufacturer. Two months later, factory rep was able to pull some magic strings and I now have a brand new E5000PREG sitting at home in the box. According to conversation with shop, the factory had questions about fuel I was using.

Same fuel (not old) I use in other gas powered outdoor equipment without issue.
