I need to replace an oil cap on the 029, so i ordered one off ebay that the seller said would fit 029, but it's a bit small. That part number was 0000 350 0520 . I took couple pic of the opening and the old plugs, and the new (not fit) plug by itself. Which part number should i get? Thank you.

I bet he sent you an 025 oil cap on accident. I would email the seller and tell him that and he needs to send you the 029 oil cap. Coincidentally, an 025 fuel cap is compatible with the 029 oil cap. My caps are dirty and I don't see any numbers but I'm sure you can get a replacement and get to keep the 025 oil cap.

But when i look at numerous sellers, they all say the oil cap for 025 shares the same part with 028, 029 as well...

That's correct but it's the 025 fuel cap and the 029 oil cap. You probably have the 025 oil cap which is not compatible. Sellers usually resend out the correct part free of charge and the first cap is yours. From my experience, I'm going to say that they owe you for the correct part

Yea they either need to re ship or refund you. This is not your mistake. You have an 029 and a cap that was advertised to fit , but does not.

The part number for the cap is right, but you may have gotten an aftermarket one with slightly different specifications. I don`t know. Have a look for an OEM one, that should fit.
