I guess the biggest problem with quoting a repair price is you don't know what you will find until you have it on your bench, worst case scenario crank bearing gone that caused the problem to start with and time involved to take a saw completely down and go from there.

With a seized, scored piston you need to split the cases. That’s new bearings and seals, plus c/p if the cylinder can’t be saved.
At $150 for labor that’s $50 per hour. Plus parts. Oem or after market?
