Which is oem for a 372xp?

Top is what came out of my saw. Don’t know if it’s original or now. Bottom in the bag is what the local dealer ordered. Did I get the wrong one? Advantage to either or?Thanks in advance.

Double wing old style, single wing new, both are oem parts. Both will work just fine.

Thanks. The new one has a metal tab while the old one is plastic.

I don't think Ive ever had the tab break off either style so both are fine on that account. I have however had the plastic gears strip out of the center on both models. That's the weak link in the design, not the tabs that engage the clutch drum.

The metal tab ones are much better if you use longer bars. The cluch drum won't melt the ends off. They are a must have if you do any fire cutting...

My 372 came with the plastic one

My 371 had the dual plastic and when they wore down the oiler had significantly less output. It now has the metal type installed.
