Need a new shop stove...

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a new wood stove for the shop. I have a decent sized home built out there now with a blower and have had no issues insuring it but its due to be replaced and I want something with a UL tag. Was thinking an add on furnace and just mount some elbows on the outputs, but the box store models look sketchy.

Shop is 32x40 16 tall. I just heat it when I am out there working evening and weekends or emptying aluminum cans.

What’s your budget. I’ve been looking at the lampa kuuma vapor fire 100 for my house. At about $5k it’s expensive but they are very well designed. Not so sure on the cheaper models but in 2020 there is s new wave of emission standards and the kuuma is one of two that pass the standard that I know of.

Here is a link to all wood “central heaters” like hot air furnaces and hydronic heaters. Came off the epa’s website. I stand corrected on that there are several that comply with the 2020 standards.

Unless I'm mistaken, if you narrow your search to forced air furnaces that use cordwood, there's only two, the lamppa and a fire chief. The fire chief doesn't seem well loved though.

I saw that...and I have read the same about the Fire Chiefs.

I did see a Englander 3500 on a box store site. Looked interesting but they sure dont give em away
