still saw sunken treasure what is it

Hello all. a friend has a saw that got flooded in 2017 , this saw resembles a 017, on the sticker is
0001. type 18 018c. and is 32cc , what is it any help would be great , and this thing is small, what of a parts list ?

The 017 and 018 are essentially the same saw. The 018 has a slightly bigger piston/cyl.

Cheap saw, probably not worth repairing. You can buy them used all day for $150 or less, they're $240 brand new.

that's good to know , man has 0 investment, will get going for less than $75, and that's buying service related parts while it is broken down , this saw might for about 15 min. run time a year if lucky, it is not making a living in the trees every day' mostly for storm use if needed

If it got flooded with "water" in 2017, it's probably a parts saw.
Rusty big end rod bearings are good for about 10 seconds.
