Another question about eager beaver 2014 stop switch to do ?

My saw eb 2014 haas a red switch in handle. It won’t shut off saw when I push it to off. Only way to stop it is pull out choke . Likre to get that corrected ASAP.
What do I need to do ?

Check to see if a wire is disconnected or damaged, it's a simple switch so not too much can go wrong. Use contact cleaner and light sandpaper to clean. The only thing that could "break" is the metal piece the causes the saw to short the current.

I have cover off and found the insulation on ground wire frayed . Have check out

That wire ,wasn’t it . Got continuous circuit thru switch . Simple ,‍Open switch to off , still runs

No sir , the switch switched off and on with the multi meter

If the switch closes the circuit, the problem must be:
1. One or both of the 2 wires that ground the coil thru the switch circuit. Clean all contacts.
2. The internal coil kill circuit has failed. Try taking wire leads off of switch and grounding on cyl fins and see if kills.
