Check for stuttering when not cutting wood. Probably not the carb. Check the ground wires. They're almost two feet long each. The first snakes up from the flywheel chamber, through the carb box and then winds through that handle to get to a cheesy slide kill switch at the top of the handle, and then the second wire returns back same way. Lots of places to get pinched, worn and then short out. With the flexi-flyer av-buffered handle, maybe one's chafing somewhere when pushing saw cutting wood.

I've taken three of these AVP's and turned them into 009/009L look-alikes with those 45cc motors. Conversion's easy. Much more simple and fun.

Some of these came with the trigger units, some came with later integral coil.
