My first attempt. I got the patterns from here and on the other site. Thanks hiemannn. We rough cut with a plasma cutter and finished with a dremil, files and wire wheel. We made a few for my Mac 600's and one for My pioneer P41 that I'm in the middle of. I'm pretty happy so wanted to share.KIMG0044.JPG KIMG0043.JPG

We thought about it but I'm not sure they look good enough to sell. And to be honest they cost about $20 a piece on eBay. The piece of steel I purchased at tractor supply for $23 and could have made one more so eight total. And took a total of three to four hours. If we get a little better it could be a possibility. I need to build a library of patterns.

Put a few clamped together with the orginal and a drum sander on a Dremel will shape the radious more even. You have a good start.

Drill the holes first and just bolt them together might be easier. Remember im not using an oem spike as a template just a piece of paper I print out from the computer. But im definitely going to work on getting better. Especially on those NLA spikes.

If you want, I can share the file I still believe I have for a spike for your P20. That is if it is the same as my P25/P26/1074 Franken saw. Found the picture online, imported it and scaled it for mine. Only thing is it needs to be bent to shape, but rather easy. Here is a picture if interested. Also, I threw it in the toaster oven on bake at the highest setting for 45 minutes to harden it.

Ok. I'll try to remember to send them to you tomorrow if I still have the file on my pc. If not, no worries, I will take mine off and trace it then. If you like, please message me your email address so I can send the file. Thanks.
