So I have this lovely saw on my bench and it has a scorn cylinder and stripped out muffler bolt holes and crank seals leak. I'm not finding any aftermarket parts for this saw and I'm not sure if it is worth rebuilding? The owner likes this saw and would like it rebuilt. But is it worth it?

Seals are pretty easy to find.

Easy enough to tap new holes or use helicoils.

Depending how bad the cylinder is is the big issue.

I guess I will have to pull the cylinder off and check it out further. It just seems like the ms310 I had this spring and the rebuild was worth almost as much as the saw. I just don't want to get more than $150 into this saw including my labor. Doesn't seem practical to me.
