Nice looking saw for the price. I’m surprised no one grabbed it yet. Every so often someone needs a big cc saw, our forest isn’t known for big trees but I did cut some big red and white oaks, I think and serious cutter/feller should have a 100 cc saw in there stable.

True dat. I think it looks great. But I disagree that this is a cutter’s saw. This is a collector’s saw. For the same or less money a cutter would buy a more modern used 394xp/395xp and could cut wood with better parts availability.

This saw is for a collector who doesn’t need it but wants some Swedish history in their stable.

GLWS OP. Hope this finds a good home.

I ran stock 394’s and my 2100/2101 had more stones. I’m replacing what I had used for decades. Nice to have them ready to go when needed. Nothing like having a big bore for a backup. Take this saw plug the governor, add a larger 8 tooth rim, a 18” bar no saw will touch this saw in the woods. Freshen if it needs it, it will out last my lifetime.

For sure the 2100 series will be a collectors saw, last of the real Husqvarna mans saw, when most of it was still made of metal and heavy. The 100cc sounds like a dirt bike engine and has the power to pull some large bars. Agreed the modern saws are improvements, but these old saws still run great and have plenty of work left in them when needed.

Before I purchased my first 2100 cd I had to fight with smaller saws while cutting with them. The 2100 is a saw that can keep up with me. The forest ranger put two of us clearing up tops after a logger took out the lumber trees. I was using a 2100 with a 18” bar, 8 pin rim and 404 chain. I was in my zone cleaning house. The other cutter went to my buddy’s chain saw store and told him I’m a animal and he needs one of those husky saws because I’m taking all the wood. Can’t beat these bigger cc saws. This is a saw for real men. If I didn’t have so many of these I’d buy this one too.

Don’t wait for your bucket list there’s a 2100 right here.

I ran the 2100 with shorter bars tearing through smaller oak trees even with a dull chain she stayed cutting.

I use my 2101 on every tree job. Its not the modern faller saw, weight wise. But urban tree jobs, wood cutting, big logs stumps etc. It won't be beat, and the other saws break around it. The 2101 doesn't break or break down on me.
