Wont say the price (as i may sell it if I decide to). But i just wanted to share what i happened upon today.

Local parts dealer for my zero turn i use I had forgotten was a Makita dealer. When I walked in I saw the display on the wall and asked him about the saws and he said they are all being sold at cost. !!!

They’re not going to carry them anymore. Well one of them happened to be a BLUE 6100 brand new. Sticker says 2015. It has never been fueled up. I got a KILLER deal on her.

All I did is put fuel in it and made sure she ran when I was at the dealer. Now she sits and i ponder....sell.....keep....sell.....keep..

Any 79xx?

The 6100 was the biggest saw. But there were only 3 left when i got there. The other 2 were 30cc saws.

Trust me. If there was a bigger one it would be home with me instead [emoji6]

Why does Makita think they need a primer bulb...? All my other saws it is not necessary. Just seems like one more thing to leak/break

Can’t remember if the 6100 I had was equipped with a primer bulb. I know anything bigger, 64xx and up don’t have them.

Good lord this is the 4th saw Iv purchased since April. [emoji2957]. Not a record by any means but more than I thought id ever have.

I think im keeping this one stored away as is until i can afford to send it off for some port work.

Iv got two 30cc saws, two 60cc’s and an 85cc. Guess i need another big boy now to even things out.

Have @AlfA01 look over there. He got me my 9010 NIB and shipped here cheaper than I would have paid for a used one.

I've never got it why men think their ma hood is being questioned when a primer bulb is installed on a saw over 35cc. They are a very simple device that will still allow a saw to run when broken, can be deleted if one feels its that bad. What's wrong with priming a carb prior to starting. It puts clean fresh fuel through the carb, I think their good. My 80cc 681 Solo has one and its great, I wish my 660 and other big saws had them too.

I like the bulb if someone gives me a Saw or weed eater to look at and the fuel is suspect, I dump the tank then primer bulb the remaining fuel out so I know I’m getting good fuel to the carb.
