Not trying to knock Farmer Tec, but look at the ring wear on this single ring 52 mil after just 10 cords. I changed the ring with a new one, so will see how long that lasts.
I can almost take these 372’s apart in my sleep.

It’s strange Mike, because I’ve literally cut over 1500 cords in the last 8 years with 8 or 10 of these Chinese BB P&C’s.

Gypo I have cut a few hundred cord with my Chinese clones in the past three years with no noticeable amount of wear. Your ring looks horrible though. Possible evaluate your oil too. I also like the 372's. This year has not seen me cutting but 50 or 60 cords albeit by my self though. Thanks

Anyway, the ring on the left I installed yesterday, it was new, but look at the wear after just a cord and a half. My mix is good @ 32:1
I think I got a bad run of rings! Maybe a Husky 480 ring will fit.

Certainly could be a possibility. Good call! I’m putting the saw back together now with what could be a ring out of a 480. I’ll see if it wears prematurely.
