EGD++ Cant find info on it

I am not trying to start a “oil VS oil” thread.

I am part if a group of guys on a truck forum that has been researching and testing oil for years. So it is something i like reading about.

I ran into a 2 stroke oil that says it is EGD++ rated and it says that ratting “Exceeds highest worldwide performance standards”

Any info on EGD++ would be much appreciated.

I know about EGD but never seen the ++

ISO-L-EGD oils meet the same requirements as JASO FD and pass tests for piston cleanliness and detergent effect.

From reading I believe the ++ is just a short way of saying piston cleanliness and detergent effect.
