2100 CD no load rpms

When I did my carb I found the governed was blocked off. I was just wondering what is a safe rpm for these saws. The one site said 8500 but I wasn’t sure if that was no load speed or in the wood

That would be under load. 4-stroking at 12,500 would be normal, though I can't put my finger on a spec sheet to "blame" for that figure.

Found this in the workshop manual.

We punch plastic paper thin hole punch to make the plug. In goes in first the put the ball assembly in next. I’m going to break my saw in without the plug first.

I set it at 11750 but seemed kinda lean to my ear so backed it out a bit so should be close to that
