I was at a neighbors stealing parts off his crunched 056 for my brother's 056 alcohol saw, and I noticed that the slanted, mangled full wrap was steel with the crankcase mount brazed to the main body. Did Stihl make steel full wraps for their saws or was this a REALLY well made custom job? It saved most of the saw, save for a crankcase corner and the clutch cover, from a 3-foot diameter pine log so I might try to get it, fix it, and put it on my 045 Super so I'll have that sorta protection for my saw. Pics will come in the next week or so if I can get it off of him.
