It’s getting that time of year to start clearing brush again. What is the toughest regular chain available? I run stihl OEM, and it seems to hold up better than the Oregon or Carlton that I had on my husqvarna, but it could have been the saw. I cut a lot of raggedy stuff always having to sharpen chains.

I have only used Oregon chain. I have been running full chisel but I think I am gonna get another loop of Semi Chisel, Im never cutting "clean" wood and my chains dull fast.

I save all my old worn chains and bars for just that reason. If I'm gonna be where I'm cutting down close to the ground or in very dirty conditions, I'll put on an old chain and bar and if I wreck them it's no big deal. I use shihl chains and bars exclusively and seem to have good luck with them.
