I knew it was a matter of time.
Running the Echo 346 yesterday. For those who don't know, this is a rear handle version of their 300 series top handle saws, so the gas and oil tanks are reversed from what we are used to. Yup you guessed it, I put gas into the oil tank. Luckily I only put in a few tablespoons of fuel when I realized it. For some reason, I always to the gas first, so the remedy was simple.

STOOPID

I did bar oil in the gas tank more than once, just added some gas then dumped it back in fuel can.

Why I always do gas first. Less of a pain if it gets in the oil tank.

The saw that I have cut the most wood with in my life was my dad's Husqvarna L65.....those old Husky's have the oil and gas right next to each other so it is real easy to fill the wrong one. Close but never did.

I still miss that saw.

Did it once, luckily didn’t try to start it lol. I’m sure it will happen again. Having caps on the opposite side really doesn’t help!!!!

Haven’t done it on my saws yet.
But in the dark one winter morning I topped up my windshield washer fluid.

Except I poured it into my engine coolant.

We all have moments I guess
