I have a 5105 Dolmar that starts and runs great for about 20-30 minutes, then will not come back up to speed and dies when I give it throttle. I can let it cool down for a few minutes and it will do the same thing. My mechanic is scratching his head and has tried several things. Any ideas? All help appreciated. Thx

Partial clog on the tank vent could cause that. When it dies pull the cap and observe if there is a vacuum as you unscrew it.
Otherwise check the vent and make sure it is clear.
Just another possibility

I ran into this a few years back when the fuel line was too long, When it got warm, it kinked like a garden hose. Then when it cooled off, the kink straightened out and it ran for awhile once again. Shortening the fuel line about a half inch solved the problem. Some companies fight this with curled fuel lines.
